The WW1 Medal Records are held at The National Archives in Kew. These records are index cards created by the Army Medal Office towards the end of the First World War. They record the medals that men and women who served in the First World War were entitled to claim.
There are over 5 million cards, held in series WO 372. Most of the cards contain information about campaign medals, which were generally awarded to all those who served overseas. However, some of the cards record entitlement to gallantry and long service awards.
You can search the records in Discovery, The National Archives catalogue, by filling in a form on their site. If you find the record you are looking for you can download it for £3.50.

You can see from this record that she was awarded the 1914 Star, the British War Medal and the Victory Medal. it does indicate she was awarded the Royal Red Cross (RRC) but you would need to search the London Gazette for details of that award. The London Gazette also shows us Matron Blakely was Mentioned in Despatches twice during WW1.
